Tripwire is pleased to announce a new funding initiative for translation. Translation plays one of the most critical and vital roles in international literatures, but too often translators go unrecognized and unsupported. The Tripwire Microgrants for Translation are designed to provide support and recognition for translators of contemporary avant-garde and experimental writing. Each time donations to the fund reach $100, that amount will be awarded to a translator for work published in coming issues of Tripwire. The fund will then go back to zero, until donations reach $100 again. Please donate what you can—even the smallest amount will add up.
2015 recipients: Jen Hofer, Guillermo Parra, Alireza Taheri Araghi, & Steve Bradbury
